Why do I paint?

Why do I paint? What is it that drives me to put paint on a surface and constantly strive to make an image? Sometimes you are working and you think, but what is the point. yes the work sells and of course this is good, but it is more than that. We paint because inside we have to, almost an affliction but paint we must.
